Dear Colleague, It is our pleasure to present the 1st NYSORA World Anesthesia Congress (NWAC), March 7th - 12th, 2010 in Dubai UAE. The New York School of Regional Anesthesia with its weekly readership of 10,000 anesthesiologists, intensivists and related health care providers stands out as a true leader in education in Anesthesiology. The NYSORA’s First World Anesthesia Congress (NWAC) March 7-12, 2010 in Dubai, UAE is a natural extension of its global educational mission of advancing the field of Anesthesiology. NYSORA has had overwhelming success with its long running Annual Symposia, such as a Pan-American symposium in New York City (December), Pan-European symposium in London in November (NysoraEurope.com) and Pan-Asian symposium at selected locations throughout Asia (NysoraAsia.com). Through almost 2 decades existence, NYSORA has emerged as a Global leader of Education in Anesthesiology devoid of ubiquitously present political, economic and other divisional obstacles. This has allowed NYSORA to remain unobstructed and uncluttered in focusing on its main mission - education and advancement of the field of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Patient Care. Responding to the overwhelming demand by international clinicians and faculty, NYSORA organizes its first NYSORA World Anesthesia Congress (NWAC) in Dubai, UAE, March 7-12, 2010.
The goals of the 1st NWAC World Anesthesia Congress are:
1. Delivery of a one-of-a-kind, uncompromising Global Didactic Curriculum
2. Advancement of Research and Academia in the field of Anesthesiology at large
3. Foster networking and international/inter-institutional relationship building
4. Relationship building among academicians, practitioners and industry in quest for better and safer patient care.
In meeting these goals, the NWAC Dubai 2010 will showcase cutting edge presentations by some of the most sought after experts in the field. NWAC 2010 will also highlight the most recent developments in clinical and practical aspects in Anesthesiology. Multitude of workshop sessions, panels and problem-based luncheons will provide both intensive learning through the direct interaction with the faculty and hands-on experience. While NYSORA’s focus has traditionally been on regional anesthesia, acute pain management and ambulatory surgery, NWAC program focuses on the review of the modern trends and practices of Anesthesiology at large.
A multitude of sessions on innovation, research, scientific abstracts competition and medical intelligence and policy-shaping sessions will take place to review and forecast the current and future practice trends in the specialty of Anesthesiology. The Organizational Committee comprises 20 top Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine leaders in the World, fortified by leaders in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, Industrial Design and others. The Committee members have selected an unprecedented group of faculty of 150 speakers, workshop and PBLD presenters to showcase an overwhelmingly comprehensive program on nearly every aspect of Anesthesiology Practice. NWAC Dubai 2010 has also introduced an entirely new Academic Preceptorship Program (APP) allowing up-and-coming academicians and teachers a unique opportunity to see and be seen through their contribution to NWAC as APP Faculty. A comprehensive faculty and social programs featured at NWAC are specifically selected to allow interaction and creation of new and lasting academic relationships among well established faculty, emerging stars faculty, industry leaders and attendees alike. All in all, we believe that we have created a truly unique Global Congress Initiative - NWAC without precedence in its scope, CME impact and quality.
