Dr Philippe Gautier
Dr Gautier is head of department at the Clinique Ste Anne - St Remi in Brussel, belgium.
He graduated in in 85 with a medical degree from the university of Louvain, brussel.
He finished his training in anesthesiology in the same university after having performed one year of regional anesthesia under the patronnage of prof Albert Vansteenberge. His attention has been focused in Obstetric anesthesia, pharmacodynamic of alpha 2 agonists, and new local anaesthetics. His interest includes also local anesthetic spread after nerve blocks and ultrasounds.
Dr Gautier has published extensively in different fields of regional anesthesia in peer-reviewed journals. He has served as a reviewer including anesthesiology, Drugs, among others. He has lectured in more then 15 countries.

Dr Veerabadran Velayutham
Dr Velayutham is an Anaesthetist in the NHS and private practice in Lancashire, England. He received his undergraduate medical training in Tamilnadu, India and completed his postgraduate training in Anaesthesia in the UK. His interest in peripheral regional anaesthesia led him to complete a Fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada (under Prof. Su Ganapathy).
His current clinical practice involves orthopaedic anaesthesia utilizing regional nerve blocks predominantly. He is an active member of a regional anaesthesia group in Lancashire which conducts an ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia course thrice a year. He also teaches on regional anaesthesia courses in northern England. His publications number four and he has contributed to a book chapter and a CARG protocol which is being published soon.

Dr Xavier Sala-Blanch
Dr Xavier Sala-Blanch graduated in medicine from the University of Barcelona and trained in Anesthesia in Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. He is currently Head of Orthopedic, otolaryngology and plastic Anesthesia. He has published papers centered on regional anesthesia techniques and applied anatomy. He organizes workshops and congress in applied anatomy and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia in the last 10 years. |
Dr Brian Ilfeld
Dr. Ilfeld completed medical school at the University of California at San Francisco, internship in OB/GYN at the University of California at Los Angeles, residency in Anesthesiology at the University of California at San Francisco, and a fellowship in regional anesthesia at the University of Florida.
After joining the faculty of the University of Florida, Dr. Ilfeld completed the Advanced Postgraduate Program for Clinical Investigation and earned his Masters Degree of Medical Sciences in Clinical Investigation (program supported by a K30 award from the NIH). His grant support exceeds $1.5 million, including funding from the Foundation of Anesthesia Education and Research and the National Institutes of Health (GM077026).

Dr S. Suresh
Dr Suresh completed his medical school in Madras, India and completed
his residency in Pediatrics and Anesthesiology in Chicago followed by a
fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at Children's Memorial Hospital,
Northwestern University, Chicago where he continues to be on staff as
the Director of Research & Pain Medicine and a Professor of
Anesthesiology & Pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School
of Medicine. He is board certified in Pediatrics, Anesthesiology & Pain
Medicine and has a special interest in regional anesthesia in children
and chronic pain in children. He serves on many national and
international committees and continues to work to make pain management
in children his priority.

Dr Rasha Jabri
Dr. Jabri is American Board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. She completed a residency in Anesthesiology at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL, USA. She obtained her fellowship training in Pain Medicine at Northwestern University Fienberg School of Medicine in Chicago, where she stayed as a full time member of the Northwestern University Faculty. She obtained her assistant professorship degree from Northwestern University for her active contribution to the field of anesthesia and pain management.

Erica de Jager
My name is Erica de Jager. I am fifty years of age and i've been married for thirty years. I have two daughters and a son by marriage and a grand-son, eighteen months now. I was born in Rotterdam where i became a nurse in1994. I worked there as a nurse recovery room and after a short time, pain management. I was working there for several years. In 2022 i moved to Eindhoven. I began to work as a nurse recovery room and still do work at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. I am also nurse for the acute pain management. I have thirty other colleagues, who are working as nurse recovery room. Several of them are also nurse acute pain management.

Dr Aamer B Ahmed BMedSci(Hons) BM BS DCH FRCA
Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Critical Care
Dr Ahmed has been a consultant anaesthetist for over ten years having been appointed in 2000 to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester UK, a world renowned centre for excellence in cardiac surgery and ECMO. He graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1989 and then undertook anaesthesia training in the East Midlands of the UK. He gained specialist cardiothoracic anaesthesia training in Papworth Hospital in Cambridge and now undertakes all aspects of complex adult cardiothoracic anaesthesia and transoesophageal echocardiography. In addition his interests are in ultrasound guided vascular access and regional anaesthesia for orthopaedic surgery.
He teaches on regional Leicester courses as well as nationally run courses at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and Association of Anaesthetists. He has run ultrasound workshops at the European Cardiothoracic Anaesthetists meeting in 2009 and takes a special interest in the use of ultrasound for all aspects of upper and lower limb surgery.
